These sausages are the “Hillshire Farm Smoked Sausage Made with Pork, Turkey, Beef.” They come in 14-ounce packages and were sold in different states. If you have a pack at home, it’s time to check the lot codes and use-by date.
Smoked sausage : The Details on the Package!
Turn your sausage pack around. Do you see some codes that say “EST. 756A” and have numbers like “20” or “21”? Also, check the use-by date – it should say “Nov 11 23.” If your pack matches these, it’s part of the recall.
Where Were They Sold?
These sausages found their way to stores in seven states: California, Maryland, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Virginia. If you live there, make sure to double-check your sausages.

If you have other Hillshire Farms Smoked Sausage types at home, no need to fret. This recall is only for the specific ones with the codes and date mentioned earlier.

If you have Banquet Chicken Strips Meal with “Best If Used By Dates” of December 11, 2024, January 01, 2025, or January 07, 2025, and lot numbers 5009317120, 5009319220, or 5009319820, be careful. Check your freezer and contact Conagra Brands with any concerns.

Just like with the sausages, if you have the recalled chicken strips, throw them away or take them back to the store. Safety is the main ingredient!
